Meet our Personal Trainer – Angie Schroeder

Angie Schroeder has an MBA from Tiffin University, with a concentration in Sports Management. She is Nationally Certified as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Nutritional Coach, and a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist.

Angie has been a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor for over 17 years at various places within Sandusky County. Angie is a national trainer for the National Exercise Trainers Association.

Angie is a compassionate person who cares about educating and motivating individuals on a level that not only empowers people but also teaches them on how to make better choices. Angie’s motto is “making a difference one step at a time” and she is looking forward to sharing her enthusiasm and passion to make a difference with people at the YMCA.

Fitness Center Orientation

Strongly recommended for all new members, anyone new to strength and cardiovascular training, and youth 16 years old who wish to use the fitness center. We will teach you the ways to get the most benefit from your workouts.

Body Fat Analysis

This is a 30-minute session with our personal trainer to anyone interested in learning more about what a personal trainer can offer them. This includes an initial fitness test and goal-setting discussion.
FREE service to Members & Non-Members.

Private Tennis Lessons

Join Larry Michaels to get a one-on-one 45-minute tennis lessons. You will practice basic ground strokes, serving, overheads, and volleys. Whether it’s your first time experiencing tennis or you’re a seasoned player, your lesson will be catered to your needs. Don’t have your own racket? No problem! We have rackets available to borrow.

TRX Small Group

Get fast, effective, total-body workouts with TRX! The TRX Small Group will help strengthen your core, improve stability and increase muscular endurance. Each small class offers individual attention by a certified TRX instructor/certified personal trainer.

TRX is a total body resistance exercise that uses a suspension training system, making it possible for you to use your own body weight and gravity for an effective workout. The small group atmosphere customizes the individual’s workout by making simple adjustments to the TRX system for the particular person.

The training class is offered at various times and will be set when group is formed. Grab your friends and sign up today! Each session includes 5-45 min classes
