The YMCA of Sandusky County is not just a “swim and gym” the Y is a mission-driven organization committed to meeting the needs of the community. Utilizing information from the Community Health Assessment compiled by the Sandusky County Health Department, the YMCA’s Community Needs Assessment, and feedback from our partners, the Y offers programming to meet these critical needs. These programs include LiveStrong At The Y for cancer survivors, YMCA Diabetes Prevent Program, Rock Steady Boxing for Parkinson’s patients, The Middle School Initiative for Fremont & St. Joe’s students, Cycle Sandusky County, and MORE!

🛜 Due to ongoing phone & internet issues that our current provider cannot resolve, Omni Fiber will be rewiring our building beginning tomorrow (2-3-26), enabling us to transition to fiber-supported phones, internet, & cable. The work may take several days.
🛜 Due to this work, the YMCA may experience intermittent internet and cable TV outages over the next several days. We will work to minimize these interruptions and are confident the work will deliver a better experience for our members and guests once complete.
