Here at the Y, we believe in helping people of all exercise levels and abilities to find the best way to maintain a healthy exercise routine. As a member of the Y, you can find the perfect group exercise class for you, including Yoga, Cycling, Cardio Drums, water fitness classes and so much more.

Aerobic / Cardio Focused Classes

Cycling

Settle in for the ride of your life! You choose your own workout level in this popular non-impact indoor cycling class. Our LeMond Revmaster Sport Bikes allow a cardiovascular workout that’s easy on feet and knees while allowing a high intensity of exercise. Keep track of your heart rate and calories burnt during your workout by easily syncing your personal heart rate monitor with the on-bike apparatus. Daily drop-in available.

The Flatlanders Bicycle Club is based in Fremont, Ohio and has an active base of cyclist and cycling enthusiasts from the region. The club is active primarily from May to October. However, for a short-time only join them as they train indoors on our LeMond Revmaster sport bikes.  This is a 6-week session of 60-minute indoor cycling experience lead by Flatlander- David Stover! Enjoy the camaraderie as you enhance your cardiovascular endurance. All levels of cycling experience welcome!

Cardio Drums

Bringing together drumsticks, an exercise ball, and an exercise ball stand to create one of the most fun workouts you’ll ever do. Using the exercise ball and the floor as your drum, and mixing in fun moves, cardio drumming turns keeping a rhythm into a workout you won’t want to stop.

Zumba
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective and super fun!

Aerobic / Strength Focused Classes

Total Tone

You’ll work the major muscle groups of your upper and lower body as well as enjoy abdominal work to stabilize and strengthen the core muscle groups. The instructor will lead the class in a variety of exercises using resistance equipment, body weight, stability balls, free weights and more to keep participants engaged and challenged.

Bootcamp

The term ” boot camp ” is currently used in the fitness industry to describe group fitness classes that promote fat loss, camaraderie, and team effort. That’s what participants will experience with our Boot Camp classes! Our classes are designed to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves in the gym alone. Come join us for Boot Camp!

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6 – 7 am

Saturday 7:30 – 8:30 am

 

Max Burn Cardio w/ Weights

Start your morning off with this quick 45 minute class that is guaranteed to wake you up faster than that first cup of coffee!  This class will boost your metabolic rate with cardio and weight circuit combos.

HIIT

HIIT is a full-body workout. The class is an interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises. It builds cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength and endurance. People are challenged to push to their limits and walk out feeling strong.

Hiit with Betsy T/Th 5:15 – 6:00 am

Step Aerobics
Step aerobics is an up-tempo way to get your heart pumping and stay fit. Doing this choreographed cardio workout as part of a group exercise class can help build motivation and create a sense of community.
