100 Mile Swim Club

Push yourself – accomplish more with our 100 mile swim club!
Details:
3,500 laps = 100 miles
67.3 laps/week on average
35 laps/70 lengths = 1 mile
Pool length = 25 yards, Pool lap = 50 yards
Mini-Miler is for ages 12 and under
Keep track of your mileage in the swim club binder to stay motivated.

Aquatics Programs

Adult Swim Lessons

Have you always wished you could swim? Training for an event? Do you think you could use a refresher course? Then join us for adult swim lessons– we can help you. All levels of instruction offered. Beginners to advanced swimmers welcome! Private lessons are available — great for adults who need a flexible schedule, or who want to achieve specific goals. Swimnastics

Make friends and meet new people!  Swimnastics is a basic level water exercise class that uses the natural buoyancy and resistance of water and equipment to work toward improving participant flexibility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance. Class is taught in the shallow end, no need to know how to swim! *PLEASE, No youth guests at this time.

Arthritis

Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of our pool and improve your social and physical wellness. The YMCA of the USA and American Arthritis Foundation joined together to create this low impact water recreational exercise program for people with arthritis, and other everyday aches and pains. This is a shallow-end class, it is not necessary to know how to swim, or get your hair wet.

PLEASE, No youth guests at this time.

Easy Does it Afternoon Volleyball

Come join in the camaraderie of an informal and fun game of water volleyball! Stay agile, laugh and make friends all while enjoying the atmosphere of the shallow end of our indoor heated pool. No skill level required, just willingness to have a good time!

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 2:00 – 4:00pm

 

Silver Sneakers Splash®

Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! Splash® offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance, and coordination. Taught by Certified Silver Sneakers Instructors.

Aqua-X

Through the natural resistance of water, Aqua-X strengthens and tones muscles, reduces muscle soreness, enhances circulation, and promotes flexibility.  It’s an energetic, high-intensity water fitness class.  Class is designed for all swim levels to target all of the muscles.

Deep Water Aerobics

This is a great form of exercise to provide a total body workout that blends a combination of cardio with strength, core, muscle conditioning and inerval training. Partcipants can increase range of motion using a non-impact movement.

Water Drumming

Splash to the beat of your own drum with Water Drumming! It
brings together drum sticks, the pool and some splashing all for a great workout. It is low impact and uses the natural resistance of the water to strengthen and tone muscles, burn calories and have lots of fun!

Classes are on hold for the summer and will restart the week of August 15th
